6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers accept responsibility to:
- Provide accurate information and documentation
- Ensure safe access to the property for onsite assessments
- Communicate findings to installers, warranty providers or relevant bodies
- Follow recommended health and safety advice
- Seek professional, legal or technical advice where required
We do not contact installers, councils, warranty providers or Ombudsman services on your behalf.
7. Report Use Policy
Our reports are written in clear, legally safe language and may be provided to:
- Installers
- Warranty or guarantee providers
- TrustMark / certification bodies
- Ombudsman or ADR schemes
- Councils or LA Flex teams
Reports remain the property of the customer and may not be altered or reproduced for commercial purposes.
EnergyCymru does not offer expert witness testimony unless agreed separately in writing.
8. Health & Safety Statement
For safety and insurance reasons:
- We do not undertake any roof-access work
- We do not use ladders beyond safe domestic-use height
- We do not enter unsafe lofts, crawl spaces or restricted areas
- We do not remove insulation, boards, panels or fixtures
- We do not handle electrical components
Our assessments are strictly non-intrusive.
If an area cannot be safely accessed, this will be recorded in the report.
1. Legal Disclaimer
EnergyCymru is a renewable energy installation company providing solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps, insulation and energy efficiency solutions for domestic and commercial properties.
In addition to installation services, EnergyCymru also offers optional independent Home Health Checks and audit services for customers who wish to review existing installations.
Audit assessments are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute certification, regulatory approval or legal, technical or structural engineering advice.
Any observations or recommendations made within audit reports are based on visible conditions at the time of assessment and documentation supplied by the customer.
2. Scope of Service
Installation Services
Our installation services may include:
- Design and installation of renewable energy system
- Commissioning and system testing
- Certification and handover documentation
- Warranty and aftercare support
All installations are delivered in line with recognised industry standards and applicable accreditation requirements.
Audit Services
Our audit services are limited to:
- Visual, non-intrusive assessments
- Documentation review
- Identification of potential defects or risk indicators
- Highlighting missing information or concerns
- Outlining appropriate next steps
Audit services do not include:
- Intrusive investigations
- Structural assessments
- Certification of PAS 2030, PAS 2035 or MCS compliance
- Issuing warranties or guarantees for third-party work

3. No Legal Advice Statement
EnergyCymru does not provide legal advice or act as a legal representative.
Any references to consumer rights, complaint pathways or escalation routes are provided as general guidance only. Customers are responsible for obtaining independent legal advice where required.
4. Certification and Compliance Statement
EnergyCymru operates as a renewable energy installer and provides certification for works it installs where applicable.
For audit services only, EnergyCymru does not act as:
- A PAS 2030 assessor
- A PAS 2035 Coordinator
- A TrustMark inspector
- A government auditor
- A technical monitoring agent
Audit reports do not constitute formal compliance certification under any scheme or regulatory body.
5. Liability Statement
Audit findings are based solely on visible and accessible evidence at the time of assessment.
Areas not safely accessible, including behind walls, within cavities, beneath flooring or concealed systems, cannot be assessed.
EnergyCymru will not be held liable for:
- Actions or inactions of third-party installers
- Decisions made by warranty providers or certification bodies
- TrustMark, Ombudsman or ADR outcomes
- Future deterioration or damage
- Failure by the customer to act on recommendations
Liability for audit services is strictly limited to the amount paid for the audit.
Installation liabilities are governed separately by installation contracts and applicable warranties.

- Following safety and usage guidance provided
- Seeking specialist advice where appropriate
EnergyCymru does not contact installers, councils, warranty providers or Ombudsman services on a customer’s behalf unless agreed separately in writing.

- Certification bodies
- Ombudsman or ADR schemes
- Councils or local authorities

Any areas that cannot be safely accessed will be noted within the report.
9. Payments, Cancellations and Refunds
Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations
Remote audits:
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Onsite audits:
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance due to scheduling and travel.
Refunds
Refunds may be issued where the above notice periods are met.
No refunds are issued once an assessment or report has been completed.
10. Privacy and Data Handling
EnergyCymru collects only the information necessary to deliver installations or prepare audit reports.
This may include:
- Contact details
- Property address
- Photographs
- Installation documentation
- EPC or retrofit paperwork
Data is stored securely and used solely for service delivery and communication.
Data is never sold or shared with third parties.

9. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations
- Remote audits (Bronze / Silver):
Cancellations must be made 24 hours before scheduled assessment. - Onsite audits (Gold / Platinum):
Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the appointment due to travel scheduling.
Refunds
Refunds may be issued where cancellations follow the above notice periods.
No refunds will be issued once an assessment has been conducted or a report has been completed.

EnergyCymru collects only the information required to provide the assessment and prepare your report.
This may include:
- Contact details
- Property address
- Photos
- Documents related to past installations
- EPC or retrofit paperwork
Your data is:
- Stored securely
